There were 158 people who kept the Feast in Montego Bay, Jamaica, this year. The Feast was off to a good start with a spectacular view of the lunar eclipse and blood moon over the ocean after opening night services. On the second day of the Feast, overseas brethren enjoyed a pleasant afternoon hosted at the beautiful villa, which served as accommodations for many of the Jamaican brethren. Visitors were treated to Jamaican music, snacks, and drinks, including sorrel and June plum juice. They also had the opportunity to swim in the pool and to learn the lively Jamaican game of “loodie.” The Jamaican brethren were, as always, wonderful hosts.
Other activities included family/youth day at the Riu Montego Bay, a lady’s social and a community outreach project at a local children’s home. The messages and special music came together beautifully to create a most inspiring vision of the future we were all there to celebrate. Throughout the Feast, brethren exhibited a spirit of peace, joy and generosity—just the way God’s children should be!
