Eighty enthusiastic attendees enjoyed a taste of God’s Kingdom at the beautiful Coconut Bay Beach Resort in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia. The messages and special music were most inspiring, and helped everyone focus on the wonderful world to come.

As usual, the lovely St. Lucian brethren were gracious hosts and provided several activities, including a catamaran sail around the twin peaks of the Pitons, and a family day at Sandy Beach filled with games, laughter and fellowship. A highlight was a community outreach project at the Holy Hope Children’s Home. The local brethren arranged the visit to the home. Visitors were given a list of items needed by the children and were encouraged to donate an item or two as able. The response was overwhelming! So many items were donated that some had to be saved to deliver at a later time, perhaps to an additional children’s home the local congregation assists.

When it came time to settle the Feast expenses with the hotel, the sales manager expressed his appreciation for our group. He said it was the best group he had seen in his years of arranging conventions, and he enjoyed having us. We were informed that the $195 per day meeting hall rental would be waived! This was indeed a blessing from God, as this money can now be applied toward preaching the gospel on the island.

Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this Feast site such a wonderful one and to everyone who attended and “let their lights shine.”
