On the first high day we hosted a hospitality suite before services that helped us jumpstart our fellowship. The live webcast came through flawlessly on Sabbath, and we really appreciated the messages from Frank Dunkle and Victor Kubik.
We had another outstanding fellowship opportunity at the seniors luncheon, which included participation by the older children in a question-and-answer Bible trivia session. Most tables also had a youngster sharing the meal with the seniors and asking questions after they entertained the seniors with a selection of songs.
On Monday we had family day at Amazing Jakes, which has a large arcade and rides for the children. They also had a great buffet lunch. The social highlight of the Feast for many was the 2 ½-hour sunset dinner cruise on Steamboat Dolly on beautiful Canyon Lake. The temperature was pleasant with a gentle breeze blowing. We spotted a small herd of bighorn sheep on the side of a cliff. It was an ideal evening.
On the Eighth Day we hosted a lunch so all could remain on site for further fellowship. During the Feast we heard many inspiring messages from a wide variety of speakers, including a gentleman from the Netherlands. Overall, we had a very enjoyable, uplifting Feast of Tabernacles here in Phoenix, Arizona.
