Perfect weather and the fall colors improved each day. Most members were able to stay on-site for housing, which allows for more gathering, meeting and making new friends.

The family day activity was a hit with a ride up Mount Werner on a gondola with lunch and games at the top. The altitude is 6,732 feet, and it was a perfectly clear day for viewing and pictures. At the bottom, a roller coaster and miniature golf were available. Nearly 60 teens hiked up to Fish Creek Falls for a scenic view and eating pizza.

Other social activities included a family dance with karaoke, ice skating with half the rink used for bumper cars, a seniors lunch with entertainment and many drop-ins. Steamboat Springs features all aspects of dining for any price point and type of cuisine. The traditional stuffed animals for children was a hit with so many extra animals that we let grandmothers and teenagers select some too.

The many volunteers, the members and the fellowship all perfectly pictured the coming peace of God’s Kingdom.
