2018 Feast of Tabernacles

Visayas, Philippines

The resort provided a beautiful natural seaside environment for the Feastgoers, giving everyone a beautiful picture of God’s coming Kingdom.

Inspiring messages, beautiful special music and wonderful hymns were among the regular spiritual attractions joyfully shared by all 125 brethren.

Adding to the thrill and enjoyment were the scheduled activities including the fellowship night on the first day followed by the youth, singles and children’s day where the young ones enjoyed outdoor games. A Bible forum for the youth and singles was also conducted by senior pastor David Dobson.

The servants and local leaders also had the chance to bond with each other and share their experiences in leading and serving God’s people during the servant leaders’ dinner on the third day.

The Feast would not be complete without the showcase of talent during entertainment and dance night on the fourth day. The evening of the fifth day was left open for brethren to unwind, bond and enjoy the beautiful scenes around the resort while physically and spiritually preparing for the Sabbath.

The seniors in God’s Church were then honored with a special dinner while being serenaded by the young people on the evening of the sixth day. They enjoyed singing their favorite classic songs.

The seventh day of the Feast was set aside for the family and sports day activities. Fun games including oversized volleyball, a sack race, a bamboo race and many other activities. This gave everyone the opportunity to work as a team and to see how strong God’s family can be when everyone works together for a common goal. The Eighth Day came quickly. Many brethren spent the day taking photos with family, friends and new acquaintances before saying farewell following the closing service.

With the guidance, inspiration and protection of the great God Almighty, and the active participation of volunteers and committees, the Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth Day celebration this year was truly a great success!
