Outside the hall was a range of hills overlooking the area, the venue for this priceless Feast in Malawi’s commercial capital. Having waited anxiously for a year for such an event it was only right and proper that everyone looked forward to having a rewarding time in terms of spiritual growth. The weather was typical summer, not so surprising in this part of Africa. Setting the ball rolling was local church elder Mr. Gracious Mpilangwe. He presented several sermons that centered on God’s Kingdom. With such inspiring sermons, the brethren had every reason to appreciate and look forward to God’s Kingdom under the authority of Jesus Christ. The Feast would have been incomplete were it not for the events that spiced up the occasion. These included Family Day, the variety show, a children’s treat and group meals.

To appreciate God’s creation, members took a day trip to view game at a national park, some 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) north of Blantyre. The trip was worth taking, as brethren were able to see animals such as elephants and buffaloes at close range. At the end of it all, on the Last Great Day, was the Feast dance. It was quite remarkable to see both young and old taking the floor.

One can only describe the 2019 Feast of Tabernacles as most memorable. The brethren were as joyful as the laughter of a child. This Feast remains an important event in God’s salvation plan. As such, those who attended had nothing but praise to the Almighty God for revealing His Truth to them. May the Kingdom come!
