We began the Feast with 63 people and experienced a peak attendance of 85 by Wednesday. Despite the extreme heat (95+ degrees), we met for services at 10:30 a.m. each day, with two services on the Sabbath and both Holy Days. But the heat could not stop God’s people from enjoying their time together.

Feastgoers played football (soccer) and netball, cooked their meals together and enjoyed a mid-Feast trip to Lake Malawi—the fourthlargest freshwater lake in the world by volume—spending the day swimming, dancing, playing rugby and braaiing (barbequing) at the beach. Other activities included a variety show and several Bible studies tailored toward teens and married couples. We are very thankful to God for His continued blessings before, after and during this year’s Feast, and we look forward to the time when the Feast of Tabernacles will no longer just be a “shadow” of things to come.
