2020 Feast of Tabernacles

Agra, India

I hope you all have returned to home safely after a great time at the Feast of Tabernacles with the blessing of God. I am aware that due to the pandemic many people have celebrated the Feast by staying at their home. I am also among them. Here in Agra, India, seven of us celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles and pictured the Kingdom of God. We celebrated the first day together, and also gathered together on the Eighth Day. The other days, we watched the webcasts and heard the messages via our phones.

On the first day of the Feast, we all met together at my home and shared the day. The service began at 10 a.m. Edison Massey led the service; we sang three hymns and watched a Jelly video, then sang another hymn before watching the pre-recorded message that David Schreiber had prepared. Edison and I translated the message into Hindi for some so that everyone could understand the message. After the meeting, we ate a well-made breakfast and discussed the message. To make our day more special, we prepared delicious and tasty food like mutton’s biryani, chicken fry, delicious fruits, sweets and many more things.

We also gathered at my home on the Eighth Day. We began our meeting at the same time as the first day of the Feast, and listened to the pre-recorded message. We again meditated on it, discussed it and enjoyed snacks with juice and cold drinks. We also went for a small picnic and had a lot of fun before enjoying another special meal. We rejoiced in the Kingdom of God even in the days of this pestilence and learned about His Feast days. All this happened only because of Mr. and Mrs. Schreiber and the church areas in Minnesota. They did not leave us alone even in these difficult days, they helped us so that we could celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. I thank each and every person who helped and worked hard so that we can all enjoy Feast moments here. There were also other small groups and members who kept the Feast at home throughout India.
