2021 Feast of Tabernacles

New Braunfels, Texas

Inspiring messages focused on the coming Kingdom of God, the need for unity and growing in selflessness. The work of the Feast ran smoothly, largely due to the humility and cooperation of all of the volunteers. Quite a few were asked to lead various departments for the first time ever, doing a tremendous job of service for all!

We had two new activities this year including family day at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and youth day at Animal World Snake Farm Zoo. Around 100 Feastgoers enjoyed the millennial setting of the Wildlife Ranch, a drive-through safari of over 700 animals representing 45 different species from six continents, Texas style. We were able to feed and get relatively close to deer, bison, giraffe, gemsbok, cranes and of course, everybody’s favorite, the ostrich. Youth day was a huge success at Animal Word and Snake Farm Zoo. Two exciting animal interactions were arranged for everyone. The first was with a Burmese python named Simon. All were allowed to touch him if they were brave! The second brought the cute, furry fennec fox to the center of attention.

Young adults enjoyed racing through the downtown, learning New Braunfels’ history with the Spass Walking Tour’s exciting Instagram scavenger hunt. Finally, the seniors were honored with a delicious catered luncheon as is always a highlight for the New Braunfels Feast site.

God richly blessed us with great weather, inspiring messages and a spirit of cooperation as we celebrated the rich meaning of the Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth Day.
