As you read the Bible, have you ever desired to visit the locations where Paul traveled or Christ taught? Travel to the places where the scenes of Scripture occurred adds new dimensions of understanding the Bible and its application for today.

From April 8–18, 2023, ABC faculty member Darris McNeely will be hosting an Ambassador Bible College study tour of the sites in Turkey of the seven churches of Revelation. We will also visit the island of Patmos, where John was exiled and received the Revelation. We will also see the fabled city of Istanbul and learn its history. This 11-day tour starts during the Days of Unleavened Bread and is open to any UCG member to attend.

Through lectures on the Greco-Roman world, the cult of Roman emperor worship and the cultural setting of the first century, you will better understand the message Christ gave His Church and its relevance to us now. In Istanbul, you will visit sites consequential to early Church history and the formation of doctrine. The foundational truths of Scripture were under fire then, and we are living through similar times today. This trip’s goal is to enhance your faith through an immersive travel experience.
