Camp Woodland

Beautiful Camp Woodland is set on 120 wooded acres, west of Atlanta. The dining hall and wrap around balcony overlooks a beautiful eight-acre lake and makes a great backdrop for evening fellowship. For 2023 we are adding many more fun and exciting activities while still leaving plenty of time in the schedule to relax and get to know your fellow campers and staff. Activities include swimming in the pool, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats, basketball, volleyball, archery, traverse wall, speedaway, ultimate frisbee, softball, high and low ropes courses with a zip line over the lake, dance classes, two evening dances, campfires and more.

Dorms are formed by age range, giving campers a chance to create lifelong friendships with others of similar age and allowing for more tailored discussion activities based on maturity level. Each dorm will have two counselors to guide the campers in a positive direction throughout the week. Counselors encourage fun and teamwork with a daily focus on the Christian living theme and the importance of building relationships with the Father and Jesus Christ.

Woodland camp begins on a Friday so we kick off the week with the Sabbath and then a dance in the evening to help break the ice right away.

All campers will be sleeping in twin bunk beds and will need to bring sheets, blankets, pillow and towels.

The Hartsfield-Jackson International airport is nearby in Atlanta, GA. Transportation to and from the airport to Camp Woodland is available.
