Educational Seminars at Feast of Tabernacles Sites Announced

We are all busy making preparations for the wonderful Feast of Tabernacles. In the education arena we have also been making preparations for another series of educational seminars for the Feast this year. Last year, more than 1,100 people in total attended the various seminars offered at different Feast sites domestically and internationally. This year we will be offering some of the same presentations in different Feast sites, as well as new seminars with new presenters.

Here are some of the locations with their presenters and topics, listed alphabetically: Scott Hoefker plans to bring a seminar on the topic of “The Effects of Pornography on the Mind” in Cartagena, Colombia. In Jamaica, Randy and Kay Schreiber will bring their presentation on marriage, “Differences That Unite.” In Ocean City, Maryland, Dr. Roy Fouch will bring two presentations: “Coping with Addictions” and “Seven Principles of Growing a Marriage.” Gary Antion will cover two topics in his presentations at Oceanside, California: “Improving Your Marriage!” and “Happiness Is…!”

In Panama City Beach, Florida, Merna Eppick will present “Addictions—Intervention, Treatment and Recovery,” which is what she has presented at ABC and in Oceanside at last year’s Feast. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, will have two presentations: Dr. Daniel Berendt, who is a medical doctor from Canada, will bring his seminar “Happiness is a Choice.” The second presentation is going to be from Jack Scruggs titled “The Cause and Effect of Child Abuse—Ages 1–50.”

Finally, Wisconsin Dells will host two seminars: John Cafourek will present his on “How to Recover from the Ravages of Abuse,” and Dr. Keith Tomes, a school district superintendent, will bring “Understanding the Developmental Assets of Our Youth: Raising a Well-Balanced Child.”

We have planned for 10 educational presentations at four United States sites and two international sites. If you will be attending any of those sites, we hope you will make plans to attend these seminars and become more knowledgeable and inspired about some of the key issues of life. Happy Feast planning to all!
