On Jan. 28, following the Sabbath service, the Annual General Meeting of UCG–Isle of Man was held at Close Woirrey in Ramsey.

Paul Howard (chairman) reported:

•That the brochure mailing program had been completed.

David Payne (treasurer) presented the preliminary accounts for the financial year ending Dec. 31, 2005. These were accepted subject to external audit. Mr. Payne also presented the proposed budget for 2006 and this was accepted.

The officers of UCG-IOM were reappointed, with Paul Howard as chairman, David Payne as treasurer and Philip Perry as secretary.

Lyn Johnson reported that the contents of the charity box came to £90, and it was agreed that these funds should be sent to help with the Feast in El Salvador .

Barbara Fenney, as child protection coordinator for UCG–British Isles, confirmed that Laura Payne was appointed as the child protection officer for UCG-IOM. She has been CRB checked and had received the appropriate training.
