Having read the letter that Mr. Kubik has written all of us regarding the possible enactment and adoption of new laws that not only challenge, but serve to oppose and dismiss biblical authority regarding the sanctity of marriage and even the fundamental nature of God’s creation of human beings as man and woman, I, too, encourage all of us to take these issues very seriously.

Hopefully, we are all aware and have noticed the steady and accelerating decline we face in the United States and in many nations around the world in regard to the purity that God would have us seek in marriage, family, rearing godly offspring, and even our human bodies, designed to become the temple of God through the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit (Malachi 2:14-16; 2 Corinthians 6:16-18).

I encourage all our ministers to speak on these very timely subjects as “meat in due season.”

We have been called out of a dying physical world that is descending into spiritual darkness at an increasingly alarming rate, and we are called to be beacons of light to point people to the better and only true way of life. And this is not an easy task, as we live in increasingly difficult and challenging times ourselves—and Satan is intent upon wearing down the saints of God.

As husbands and wives, as young men and women, as members of the household of faith, let us band together to support each other as the “signs of the times” become more real and threatening.

Paul admonished Timothy, a young minister, “to be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).

I beseech you, ministers and brethren, to turn to God as never before and to really seek the purity that God has designed us to strive and fight for as overcomers who have been called into God’s marvelous and pure spiritual light (1 Peter 2:9-12)!

Wishing you all a very rewarding and inspiring Sabbath!
