With Passover now quickly approaching, we should all be focused on the tremendous meaning of the Spring Holy Days. Our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, died for us all. Our sins are forgiven when we are truly repentant; and even repentance is a gift from our Father in heaven.

God the Father resurrected His Son and so He now lives in those who are converted and in whom the Holy Spirit dwells (Galatians 2:20).

The Days of Unleavened Bread follow Passover and picture the importance of becoming spiritually unleavened. We are to humble ourselves, submitting to God and Christ, and are to be fully engaged in doing our part to put sin out of our lives.

Of course, we are saved by grace and eternal life shall be a gift from God that none of us deserve. We observe these Spring Holy Days in faith. We realize that if we don’t learn the lessons of these days, we will not look forward to the fulfillment of the Fall Holy Days and the return of Jesus Christ.

In the same manner, if we don’t begin planning for the Fall Holy Days now, we won’t be prepared to observe properly the Feast of Tabernacles and Eighth Day festival.

And that is one reason why we always hold our Festival planning meeting early, even before Passover. In fact, those meetings took place online Monday and Tuesday of this week! We had more than 30 ministers and support staff involved as we worked together, planning months in advance.

We are well under way to helping ensure a successful observance, once again, of these Feasts. Of course, God’s blessing is paramount and the more pleasing we are to Him, the more He will continue to pour out His blessing upon His spiritual children who take seriously His commands, such as His Holy Days.

Last year, God did pour out His blessing upon us, as we continued to observe all His days in love and faith, in spite of challenges from a worldwide pandemic.

We greatly appreciate all those ministers and members who faithfully serve at God’s annual Holy Days each and every year!
