For many years, Camp Tomahawk was held at the Nathan Bedford Forrest Campground in Camden, Tennessee. During that time, there were many wonderful memories. But after several years at the Nacome Camp and Conference Center, it was decided that our camp program should carry the name of our hosting facility.

This year volunteers from the Nashville and Murfreesboro congregations completed several service projects at Nacome on Sunday, Dec. 11. Projects included building a new foot bridge and several new firewood stands, splitting firewood and clearing away leaf debris from camp buildings. Everyone who participated had a great time serving.

Camp Nacome will be held on May 28-31, with staff to arrive on Saturday, May 27. Our activity program will provide a variety of challenging and fun opportunities for campers to learn about God’s way of life while making new friends. We start each day with Christian living followed by a day full of activities: like caving, archery, human foosball, nature exploration and crafts. These are just a few of the activities planned for this year. Make plans to join us this year at Camp Nacome.
