A Mandate from God – Protect Marriage and Family

Perspective

A nuclear family is a family group consisting of parents (a mother and father), and their children living in a single residence. Right now actions are being taken in our society to destroy the nuclear family. It is incumbent on God’s people to protect our marriages and families.

How is marriage and family being destroyed in our time? One way is the blurring of the roles of men and women in marriage, and most recently the increasing efforts to reach down into the formative years of developing boys and girls to cause them to be confused about their sexuality. There is a real effort being made under the heading of "inclusiveness" to change the definition of a family. This is being done utilizing large segments of government, business and educational sources. The current U.S. government is “all in” to the movement, and major corporations are openly marketing this distorted ideology from beer producers to restaurants. The schools are pushing the same cultural change. Thankfully, there are some conservative parents pushing back. Some who do not buy into these perverted value changes are boycotting the purchase of corporate products; stocks are plummeting and products are going unsold.

Darwinian view of the origin of marriage

Where did the concept of family originate? Wikipedia, under the subject of, “The History of Family” says: “Early scholars of family history applied Darwin's biological theory of evolution in their theory of the evolution of family structure. American anthropologist, Lewis H. Morgan, published Ancient Society in 1877, based on his theory of the three stages of human progress, from savagery through barbarism, to civilization. Morgan's book was the 'inspiration for Friedrich Engels' book,' The Origin of the Family, Private Property, and the State, published in 1884. Engels expanded Morgan's hypothesis that economic factors caused the transformation of primitive community into a class-divided society.”

The article in Wikipedia also states, “The Judeo-Christian tradition originates in the Bible's Book of Genesis. The first man and woman created by God gave rise to all of the humanity. The Bible reflects the patriarchal worldview.” It further says states, “Roman families would include everyone within a household under the authoritarian role of the father, the pater familias; this included grown children and the slaves of the household.”

So, all of us are supposed to believe the idea that the family just evolved, and that it is only natural for it to keep evolving into something else?

Marriage and family is part of God’s creation

When, where and from who did the concept of family begin, and what was intended? It certainly is true it came into existence in the physical sense in the book of Genesis. It is God Who created the family unit, and it in no way just evolved!

Family was not a concept which somehow came out of myths of old as some scholars try to insinuate. God created man and woman. He created Eve from Adam’s rib: “And Adam said: ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man’” (Genesis 2:23). Then God said, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).

God created the institution of marriage, and it was between a man and a woman. Since Eden, man has done many things to alter what God intended. Even the Pharisees and other religious leaders during the time of Jesus had perverted what God established, and they tried to test Christ by asking him about the institution of marriage: “The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, ‘Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?’ And He answered and said to them, ‘Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning “made them male and female,”' and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’ So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Matthew 19:3-6).

The Pharisees then said to Jesus, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to them, ‘Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so’” (Matthew 19:7-8).

God created the institution of marriage, and He intended it to be an enduring union between a husband and a wife. However, it is because of the hardness of the hearts of human beings that divorce was permitted by Moses. Why did God create the Holy union of marriage? The answer helps us understand why Satan has been so intent upon destroying the godly concept of family, and why around 41 percent of marriages end in divorce. The answer is rather simple, and it helps us understand why two people being one is so very important.

Marriage can be a beautiful thing. When two people marry it is for better or worse. A young man and woman marry with a commitment to each other to share a lifetime together—regardless of what life brings. Hopefully, they set out to build a family together obeying God, and they desire to teach their children about God, marriage and family. They will be successful in marriage if selfishness does not take hold in their relationship.

He seeks a godly offspring

God says in Malachi 2:16 that He hates divorce. In ancient Israel divorce was common, an almost expected thing, as it is today. God was so displeased with the way they treated marriage He did not accept their crying and tears and offerings at the altar. They said to God, “For what reason do you reject our pleas and offerings?” The prophet Malachi states God’s response to them: “Yet you say, ‘For what reason?’ Because the LORD has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore, take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth” (Malachi 2:14-15, emphasis added).

God implores us to have a right attitude towards one another in marriage and become one. Why? So, a godly seed can be produced. No wonder the Devil and this world he influences wants to destroy the institution of marriage and family structure God created to bring about a godly seed.

For God’s people in this end time, it is imperative we protect our marriages and families from the onslaught of the great tsunami of perversion in this corrupt and evil generation!

Chinese dominance in AI would result in ‘no freedom, no representative government’ warn experts

June 8, 2023 foxnews.com reported:

China and the U.S. have been developing artificial intelligence (AI) systems at a rapid pace that has evolved into a race for dominance, but should China surpass the U.S. in its technological capability, experts warn of dire consequences for America.

If China does win an AI race, its actions would impact the U.S. societally, militarily and culturally, putting Americans at their mercy as they shape free speech and power in modern society.

‘If you are the one that cracks that glass ceiling, if you will, and breaks through in AI, you get to go and also set what the rules of the road look like for that technology for quite some time,’ James Czerniawski, a senior policy analyst at Americans for Prosperity, told Fox News Digital.

Iran claims: Israel has no response to our new missile

June 7, 2023 israelnationalnews.com reported:

The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, said that the range of the ‘Fateh’ missile, which now reaches a range of 1,400 km, will soon be increased.

Speaking at a ceremony in which the missile was unveiled and which was attended by President Ebrahim Raisi, Hajizadeh said that Iran is the fourth country in the world that has developed the technological ability to produce missiles that are capable of changing course on their way to their target.

In light of the maneuverability of the Iranian hypersonic missile, he added, there is currently no anti-aircraft system capable of intercepting it in flight.

China Establishing ‘Commanding Lead’ with Key Military Technologies

June 6, 2023 voanews.com reported:

Chinese research on some key military technologies is so far ahead that the United States and its key allies may never be able to catch up, according to a new analysis by an Australian think tank. The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) issued its findings Tuesday based on a review of the top 10% of the most highly cited research papers, concluding China leads in 19 of 23 key categories, including some that are likely to play a major role in Beijing’s push for military prominence in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

China ‘has a commanding lead in hypersonics, electronic warfare and in key undersea capabilities,’ the ASPI study found, further warning, ‘China’s leads are so emphatic they create a significant risk that China might dominate future technological breakthroughs in these areas.’

The analysis further found that for hypersonics, nine of the 10 leading research institutions are based in China, while China is home to all 10 of the top research venues for undersea drones.

Syphilis cases at highest level for 75 years in England last year

June 6, 2023 guardian.com reported:

Cases of syphilis were at their highest level in 75 years in England last year while gonorrhea cases increased by a record amount, figures show, amid concern over funding cuts to sexual health services. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is urging people to use condoms, calling them “the best line of defence”, and advises people to go for a test if they have recently had unprotected sex.

The number of syphilis cases soared to almost 8,700 in 2022, the highest since 1948, while gonorrhea diagnoses rose by 50% in just 12 months to 82,592 – the most since records began in 1918, according to the UKHSA figures.

In 2020 and 2021 there was a drop in the number of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) being diagnosed as lockdown meant fewer opportunities for sexual contact as well as a drop in sexual health screenings. In 2022 the number of sexual health screenings recovered to 2019 levels, but the figures show some STIs have now exceeded pre-pandemic levels, with gonorrhea diagnoses up 16% compared with 2019 and syphilis diagnoses up 8%.

US, Japan, South Korea aim to share North Korea missile warning data

June 5, 2023 spacewar.com reported:

The United States, Japan and South Korea aim to share North Korean missile warning data before the end of 2023, the three countries said on Saturday after a record number of missile tests by Pyongyang this year. Leaders of the three allies committed to the real-time data sharing at a summit in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh in November.

North Korea has ramped up military development since diplomatic efforts collapsed in 2019, conducting a string of banned weapons tests, including test-firing multiple intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Defence chiefs from the United States, Japan and South Korea announced the data-sharing agreement after they met at a forum in Singapore. The three sides ‘recognised trilateral efforts to activate a data sharing mechanism to exchange real-time missile warning data before the end of the year in order to improve each country’s ability to detect and assess missiles launched’ by North Korea, their joint statement said.

Being happily married prevents working men from burnout

June 5, 2023 studyfinds.org reported:

If you ever feel burnt out from working, you’re definitely not alone. The mental exhaustion can make people feel disconnected from their own bodies, minds, and emotions, and make them feel less fulfilled in life.

Now, researchers from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) say there may be a solution — get married! Their study finds that a happy marriage can help fight off work-related burnout, specifically among men.
“For men, career success can often become a fundamental aspect of their identity and self-esteem. As a result, they may encounter greater pressure in the workplace and experience elevated stress levels while striving to fulfill their duties and meet expectations.

In this context, marital satisfaction and feeling supported in one’s private life can become critical factors in preventing burnout among men,” says study author Ilya Bulgakov, a doctoral Student at HSE School of Psychology, in a media release.
The researchers surveyed 203 employees from different Russian companies. The participants were asked to assess their satisfaction with their relationships and the presence of workplace burnout symptoms.

They found a strong correlation among men showing that the more marital satisfaction they expressed, the lower their risk of burnout was.

Major breakthrough on nuclear fusion energy

June 3, 2023 bbc.com reported:

European scientists say they have made a major breakthrough in their quest to develop practical nuclear fusion - the energy process that powers the stars. The UK-based JET laboratory has smashed its own world record for the amount of energy it can extract by squeezing together two forms of hydrogen.

If nuclear fusion can be successfully recreated on Earth it holds out the potential of virtually unlimited supplies of low-carbon, low-radiation energy. The experiments produced 59 megajoules of energy over five seconds (11 megawatts of power). This is more than double what was achieved in similar tests back in 1997.

It's not a massive energy output - only enough to boil about 60 kettles' worth of water. But the significance is that it validates design choices that have been made for an even bigger fusion reactor now being constructed in France.

"The JET experiments put us a step closer to fusion power," said Dr Joe Milnes, the head of operations at the reactor lab. "We've demonstrated that we can create a mini star inside of our machine and hold it there for five seconds and get high performance, which really takes us into a new realm.

US Warns ‘Alarming Increase’ in Aggressive Chinese Intercepts

June 1, 2023 voanews.com reported:

U.S. defense officials are warning of an ‘alarming increase’ in aggressive intercepts from Chinese military aircraft and vessels following a close encounter between a Chinese fighter jet and a U.S. military plane in international airspace over the South China Sea last week.

These ‘risky’ intercepts have the ‘potential to create an unsafe incident or miscalculation,’ said two U.S. defense officials who spoke about the incident on the condition of anonymity.

On Tuesday, the U.S. released footage of what it called an ‘unnecessarily aggressive maneuver’ by a Chinese fighter pilot during an intercept of a U.S. Air Force RC-135 aircraft on May 26.

The Chinese pilot ‘flew directly in front of and within 400 feet (122 meters) of the nose of the RC-135, forcing the U.S. aircraft to fly through its wake turbulence,’ according to a spokesperson from Indo-Pacific Command, which oversees U.S. military activity in the region.
