San Francisco Bay Hosts Marriage Enrichment Workshop

The San Francisco Bay Area brethren were treated to a Marriage and Family Enrichment Workshop presented by Northwest Phoenix and Northern Arizona pastor Randy Schreiber and his wife Kay. The workshop was held at the Oakland Masonic Center on the Sabbath of Dec. 14, 2013.

After Mr. Schreiber’s sermon on family leadership, 129 attendees ate a wonderful lunch and returned for the highly interactive seminar, which explained many practical ways to enhance marriage and family relationships by capitalizing on opportunities and correcting issues. It was delivered in five parts: commitment, sacrifice, love, nurture and trust. The Schreibers effectively utilized a variety of learning methods, including group exercises, poignant videos, assessment questionnaires, written material and participant discussion.

In addition to the delightful luncheon, the day was broken up by coffee and cookie breaks. Deaconesses Betty Willis, Diane Mercer, and many other women made the day special by providing table decorations and other things.

At the end of the day, participants left with increased knowledge and were thankful for the opportunity to learn more about godly relationships.
