Garden Grove brethren in Orange County California have been displaying UCG booklets in California retail malls since January 2016. From 2016 to December 2019, UCG booklets have been displayed in retail malls 89 times for a total of 383 hours. God has allowed 1,404 people to take booklets, which calculates to 3.7 people taking booklets every hour they were displayed. One person has been baptized as a result of this outreach. The purpose of this outreach is (1) to provide a passive and non-confrontational activity for Church brethren to spread the good news about the Kingdom of God, (2) to establish a platform where Church members can be edified, (3) to promote the Beyond Today program, (4) and to continue the work Jesus started.

California malls provide the space, table and two chairs free for this free speech activity. The books are normally displayed from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. One or two members of the Garden Grove church volunteer to serve at the table for two-hour periods. For more information please contact lincoln_marini@ucg.org.
