Updates from Ministerial and Member Services

There have been several changes to the oversight of international areas over the past year. John Elliott has officially passed his role as senior pastor for East Africa to Monte Knudson, an elder who serves the congregation in Phoenix, Arizona. Mark Mickelson passed English-speaking West Africa to Paul Moody, pastor of congregations in Washington and Idaho. Earl Roemer has passed the Philippines to David Dobson, pastor of congregations in Alabama and Tennessee.

On Feb. 27, 2018, two Canadian elders were recredentialed by the United Church of God. Ken Parker and Bob Trotter serve in the Barrie, Ontario, congregation.

Administrative Services Coordinator

Chris Rowland and his wife, Katherine, serve in the ministry of the United Church of God. They live in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Chris is Administrative Services Coordinator. Chris and Katherine have two married, adult children.

Chris graduated from Wabash College in 1994 with a degree in Mathematics, minoring in Computer Science and French. He worked as a computer programmer and software architect for 17 years before he was hired by the Church full-time in January 2011.
