On May 4, 2021, Gary Evans was re-credentialed by the United Church of God. He and his wife, Sue, serve in the Cincinnati East, Ohio, congregations.

In early May, Andy and Amber Duran were transferred to New England where Mr. Duran now serves as an assistant pastor to Andy Diemer for the congregations in Southern New Hampshire, Worcester (Massachusetts), Saratoga Springs (New York) and Bangor (Maine).

A new Bible study group in Sugarcreek, Ohio, was added in early May with John Miller serving as pastor.

On Pentecost, May 16, we had five new elders ordained in the United States and Australia. Bill Ferrier and his wife, Kelli, serve in the Northern Arizona congregation. Charles Graby and his wife, Linda, serve in the Atlanta, Georgia, congregation. Steve Holladay and his wife, Jackie, serve in the Buford, Georgia, congregation. Roger Rains and his wife, Erica, serve in the Worcester, Massachusetts, congregation. Joe Rivers and his wife, Jenean, serve in the Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, congregation.

In mid-May, David and Joy Jones were transferred to Colorado where David now serves as pastor for the congregations in Denver, Colorado Springs, Loveland and Frisco. This will allow Scott Ashley to devote himself more fully to his responsibilities as managing editor of Beyond Today and will enable Charles Melear to devote more time to his role as conference planner who travels extensively to arrange many of our Festival sites.

In June, David Meidinger was hired to serve as an associate pastor. David and his wife, Laura, now serve the congregation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, assisting pastor Randy Schreiber.

On June 12, two ministerial trainees serving the Cincinnati East, Ohio, congregation were ordained into the ministry. Troy Phelps and his wife, Cindy, were transferred to the San Francisco area where Troy now serves as an assistant pastor to Tim Pebworth for the congregations in Petaluma and San Francisco Bay Area, California. Nick Lamoureux and his wife, Megan, were transferred to Rome, Georgia, where Nick now serves as an assistant pastor to Rick Beam for the congregations in Rome (Georgia), Gadsden (Alabama) and Chattanooga (Tennessee).

In mid-June, several additional pastoral transfers occurred. Randy and Linda Stiver were transferred to South Dakota, where Randy now pastors the Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Watertown congregations, replacing David Jones. Ryan and Nissa Hall were transferred to the northeast Ohio area where Ryan now pastors the congregations in North Canton and Youngstown (Ohio), Wheeling (W. Virginia), and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), replacing Randy Stiver.

We greatly appreciate the dedicated service of these men and their wives.
