We’ve just completed three full days of camp and everyone is having a great time! Today, we enjoyed a more relaxed activity where we went boating and fishing around the island! Because of our group size, we split into two groups on two separate boats where we wanted a challenge to see who could catch the most fish, to take back to camp to eat for dinner. The boat took us out and our fishing adventure lasted about two hours where we kept our eyes open to see if our fishing lines were catching anything. We were all anxiously waiting to see how many fish we could catch to take back! On the boat I was on there was Tiffany, Alejandro, Kendall, Prince, Mr. Smith, Calixtus, and I. About halfway out in the water, there was a tug on one of our lines, so Calixtus jumped up there to reel it in. He worked really quickly to reel the line in, and he got it! We continued on and made it back to the boat dock after the trip was over. Turns out, he was the only one who caught a fish from either boat! We were all really excited and happy about the fishing trip and that we would get to enjoy (another) delicious dinner!
