Join us for a Regional Leadership Workshop!

Who?	Members with a spirit of service! This can include serious-minded older teens, young adults, adults and seniors of either gender.
What?	Workshop sessions and open discussion about how we can all serve in the Church.
When?	Sunday, July 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where?	Holiday Inn Youngstown South/Boardman 7410 South Ave. Youngstown, OH 44512
Cost?	There is no charge to attend the conference. Lunch is included (donations accepted).

9:30 a.m.	Introduction and Overview (Victor Kubik)
10:00 a.m.	Capturing Christ’s Vision for the Church (Darris McNeely) Preaching the gospel is a whole church effort. What can we learn from the disciples at Antioch that helps us fulfill our mission today?
11:30 a.m.	Open Discussion, Questions & Fellowship
12:00 p.m.	Lunch Break
1:15 p.m.	Becoming a Disciple: The Heart of Christianity (Victor Kubik) We are to make disciples—do our characteristics show that we have become disciples ourselves?
2:15 p.m.	Reaching Out and Lighting the Way (Steve Myers) Since each of us has partnership in the gospel, how does that take shape in my life? What is my responsibility in sharing the work of God, especially as it relates to connecting and interacting with others?
3:30 p.m.	Open Discussion, Questions & Fellowship

Darris McNeely
Beyond Today Presenter
Darris McNeely works at the United Church of God home office in Cincinnati, Ohio. He and his wife, Debbie, have served in the ministry for more than 43 years. They have two sons, who are both married, and four grandchildren. Darris is the Associate Media Producer for the Church. He also is a resident faculty member at the Ambassador Bible Center teaching Acts, Fundamentals of Belief and World News and Prophecy. He enjoys hunting, travel and reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
Victor Kubik
Elder, United Church of God
Active in the ministry of Jesus Christ for more than five decades, Victor Kubik is a long-time pastor and Christian writer. Together with his wife, Beverly, he has served in pastoral and administrative roles in churches and regions in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. He regularly contributes to Church publications and does a weekly podcast. He and his wife have also run a philanthropic mission since 1999.

He was named president of the United Church of God in May 2013 by the Church’s 12-man Council of Elders, and served in that role for nine years.
Steve Myers
Beyond Today Presenter, Operation Manager
Steve is the Operation Manager for the Ministerial and Member Services department of the United Church of God. He is also an instructor at Ambassador Bible College as well as a host on the Beyond Today television program. Together, he and his wife, Kathe, have served God and His people for over 25 years.
