The brethren in Mufulira, Zambia are in need of fresh water. Presently the congregation gets water from the Mufulira Council which is unsuitable for drinking; a few years ago a sewage line leaked into their water pipeline in that area which resulted in the death of many people in the community.

A prospective borehole site has been surveyed by the department of Water Affairs using their electronic system. The borehole depth is 90 metres with good water at 60 metres; the estimated funds include the drilling of the well and a heavy duty pump.
