This Feast site is found in Kisii County along the Kisii-Kilgoris Road. It is at a place that has rain falling throughout the year. Most of the people who live around the Feast site are small scale farmers. These farmers keep livestock and grow maize, beans, bananas, trees, fruits like avocados, coffee, tea, vegetables and sugarcane. This has been a Church-owned facility since the year 2005. The Church first celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles here in the year 2011.

Attendees came to this year’s Feast from Migori, Naivasha, Kitale, Bagaria, Meru, Madianyi, Ndanai, Magenche, Ogembo and the USA. The attendees contributed money and food. We had hired kitchen staff who prepared delicious meals for the brethren. The members assisted the cooks in preparing meals before the start of Sabbaths.

The messages were spiritually enriching and awakening. We had Bible studies, question and answer sessions, special music and a ladies’ seminar. Members remained thankful throughout the Feast to those who gave donations to make the Feast a success.

The ever-green environment and rains that came almost every evening made the brethren reflect on the weather back home, as there were brethren who had come from drought-stricken areas like Meru and Naivasha.

The attendees lived in tents and some in bandas. The members had plenty at the site and good weather that topped the joy of many. After the Feast a good number said that they will consider coming back again if the Feast is held at the site.

The attendance high was 84 people and the low was 46 over all of the eight days. The Feast did not face any serious challenges and we are grateful to God for the success He granted.
