On the war-torn island of Haiti, there was a respite of peace, if only for eight days and only in one place—Mirebalais, Haiti. The Feast of Tabernacles was finally kept, after a four-year absence due to the civil war and the COVID-19 virus. Brethren safely gathered at the church hall to share God's Word presented by deacon Joseph Jean daily. The food provided by the Church, along with the avenue for fellowship, created a small escape for the 28 brethren who attended. With a dream of a better world to come, all left this Feast feeling there is hope with Christ's return and establishment of the Kingdom of God. The celebration in Haiti this year was made possible by the generosity and subsidy from UCG. God's small, called-out group from the poorest country in the northern hemisphere tasted a slice of the world to come. God speed that day!
