We are grateful to God for placing His name in Montego Bay, Jamaica again this year, where over 300 people attended the Feast of Tabernacles.
Our Feast theme this year, “Restoration of All Things,” focused on the promise that will be brought about by Jesus Christ at His return (Acts 3:21). This theme was beautifully emphasized throughout the Feast. Speakers painted a vivid picture of the coming Kingdom of God and the paradise it will bring. Discussion moderators led engaging sessions, challenging participants to consider the splendor of a restored earth and how it might contrast with our current world. Several fun activities provided opportunities for our youth to engage with the festival theme and reflect on God’s grand plan for mankind.
As always, the setting was spectacular, with the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea set against white sand beaches, palm trees and other vibrant plants and flowers. We enjoyed sunshine every day, punctuated by the occasional afternoon thunderstorm to cool the air and pave the way for rainbows and magnificent sunsets; God’s gorgeous creation was on full display.
Most important of all was the warmth of the brethren. The spirit among God’s people was one of love, unity and togetherness. Everyone rejoiced in one accord, giving praise to our great God for all that He has provided and for His coming Kingdom.
