Greetings brethren,

The United States is one of the best places to live in the world, but it is still the world, and from a Biblical perspective it is Babylon.   All of us live in the chaos and confusion of Babylon. How do we cope and live?

We are challenged in a society that surrounds us with all of its twists and turns.  Morals change on a daily basis and often morals are guided by movies and TV shows produced in Hollywood.  The Harvey Weinstein issue makes you wonder why there is an issue when media is so sexually oriented.  Also, why do so many support marijuana and condemn smoking, especially when people smoke marijuana?  There are so many dichotomies in the world.  Is it any wonder why people have problems coping?

There is an example in the Bible of someone who was thrust into the world and a godless society and was able to cope and thrive.  He was a remarkable person, and considered to be one of the three most righteous people through the ages.  Do you know who it is?

Despite where he had to live he succeeded, and so can we!  We can learn a lot from him, and it would be a good endeavor to study his life for our own benefit.
