Psalms 23 is probably the most recognizable Psalm that King David wrote. It is a beautiful metaphor of the relationship between a shepherd and his flock and the Good Shepherd Jesus Christ and His flock that He most lovingly cares for and watches over. In this Psalm David puts himself in a position of a sheep. How does he view his shepherd? A better understanding of this Psalm reveals much about the Good Shepherd and His love for the sheep He has chosen.
