We live today in an increased time of rapid technological advancements and innovation. Every year that goes by, computers get faster, high-speed internet is in more homes, and advancements in medicine are made. With all the technological advancements, it seems impossible that a "famine of the hearing of the word" (Amos 8:11) could ever happen. But this event is prophesied to occur. We have a divine, scriptural commission to preach the good news of God's Kingdom to as many people as we are able. But this message is unpopular in society, even among Christian denominations. With all of today's interconnectivity also comes the opportunity for our work of preaching the gospel to be more easily censored.
