The recent nomination of a judge to our Supreme Court has dramatically revealed our nation to be deeply divided. Jesus said a nation so divided will be destroyed. What does the Bible say about several of the topics of conversation in this regard? This nation has been divided before, but this may become more destructive than in times past. All of this should help us see that we truly need the intervention of Jesus Christ to rule all nations, with us assisting Him. We should learn from our national leaders’ mistakes and be even more unified as God’s people, loving each other as Christ loves us.
