The Day of Atonement can be called the Day of Reconciliation. The Bible places major emphasis on how we are called to be reconciled with God and to be reconciled with fellow believers and others. Whenever some kind of separation occurs, we should do all we can to be reconciled. We must be quick to forgive and quick to apologize to others for our own mistakes. And this sermon describes the processes of reconciliation.
