Looking at how one Beatitude can lead to better application of the next critically important character traits leads us to "Hungering and Thirsting for righteousness". Do we do this with the intensity we would if we were stranded in a desert with nothing to eat or drink? We should deeply crave filling our spiritual void with Godly righteousness.
