This message examines the topic of chastening, and how it relates to the Christian. Why is chastening necessary for every Christian? In order to be open to chastening, we need to be humble and examine ourselves. If we refuse to do so, we need God to more overtly chasten us, which is not joyful in the present, but necessary for righteousness and approval.
