Where can we go to find a network of basic attitudes that please Christ and are instructive to us? Where is this information revealed? The answer is The Book of Revelation! The message to the 7 Churches teach us seven basic attitudes that Christ wants for His Church to develop. Christ wrote a personal letter to each of the 7 Churches to give each Church spiritual “food for thought!” These messages are of vital import to every Christian today!

Pastor D'Allessandro during the first few minutes of this sermon affirms his agreement with the [apparent] opinion that the Church is Laodicean, it can be reasonably deduced therefore, that he refers to the UCG. Christ describes the Laodicean church as being lukewarm and possessing material abundance, along with an idolatrous attitude regarding materialistic possessions and a lack of real spiritual commitment. Similar sermons were preached about and towards the WCG especially in the 70's and look what happened to that Church of God! Christ described Laodicean church as spiritually poor and wanting, with material wealth, and prophesied to be figuratively vomited up by Him as unpalatable to Him as a church of God. Once again we find that truly "there's nothing new under the sun" and the more things change, the more they stay the same! Vale.
