Keeping the commandments and the laws of God is key, as they are the essence of and building blocks that point us to God. However, we would be making the same mistake as the Pharisees if we figured that just because we have the truth and keep the commandments, we are a special people. What is equally important is having love for one another, by which we demonstrate that we are living our faith.
