This sermon addresses seven areas in which an environment of growth can be enhanced in local congregations. (1) Strengthen the environment for worship. (2) Provide and promote opportunities for Christian fellowship. (3) Be diligent in "... the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry (serving). (4) Give messages that convey God's words of life and truth, and are doctrinally sound, inspiring, and edifying. (5) Establish an effective means of teaching the next generation of teachers. (6) Devote ourselves to the mission of bearing witness. (7)  Devote ourselves to the mission of evangelism--preaching with the purpose of helping the church to grow.
