Genetics teaches us that changes occur in our DNA. Mutations and variants of unknown significance occur all the time. Some lead to disease, some are benign, some are unknown. So too, God introduces changes in our life – variations – that cause changes in our lives. These variants will change us and cause us to grow. They cause us to build our faith and build perseverance. These changes are like an evolutionary process where God is causing us to grow and become more than we were before, to become something different – a new creature.
