This sermon is part 2 of 2 sermons that discusses that issue of "growing in faith" and the 7th in the series on faith. We pick up the journey of Abraham from just after his rescue of Lot from the warring kings and continue to the ultimate test of his faith, that of the sacrifice of Isaac. Just as Abraham was tested over a lifetime and grew in faith, so too God will test us. Our objective is to come to the same belief as Abraham, to come to the point that we say in our lives, no matter what the circumstances, “God will Provide”. God wants to be able to say of us, as he said of Abraham "now I know…"
Ken was ordained into the ministry in 2009 and serves in the San Antonio, Austin, and Waco congregations of the United Church of God.
He began attending the Church of God in Melbourne Australia in 1962 with his mother and siblings.
Ken attended Ambassador College from 1984 to 1988, graduating with a B.A. in Theology. While at Ambassador, he met his future wife Krissie Jonas. Ken and Krissie have 2 children, Kristen and Aaron.
