What comes to mind when you think of the word father? What does the relationship with our physical father have to do with our spiritual father? Jesus Christ showed us what a really good father God is. God loves us and cares for us and helps us grow.

Michael was an elder who most recently served the Roanoke, Virginia, congregation of the United Church of God, where he had served as pastor for five years. He and his wife, Rita, lived in Lansing, West Virginia. He was a retired chemist. They enjoyed hiking and biking.
