We have been called to be the future leaders of the world with Christ. Do you picture yourself as a world leader? What kind of training will it take to be those world leaders? What must we learn in order to be prepared to rule with Christ? How does the Bible define or illustrate real leadership? Is a leader someone who appears powerful and invincible? Were Adolf Hitler and Sadaam Hussein leaders? Is a person a leader just because he has a following? What does it take to be a real leader? In this sermon we will look at four essential character traits required of a leader. Whether we realize it or not, many of us are already well on our way to acquiring those leadership traits.

Steve Shafer was born and raised in Seattle. He graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1959 and later graduated from Ambassador College, Big Sandy, Texas in 1967, receiving a degree in Theology. He has been an ordained Elder of the Church of God for 34 years and has pastored congregations in Michigan and Washington State. He and his wife Evelyn have been married for over 48 years and have three children and ten grandchildren.
