The command to gather fruit and branches for the Feast of Tabernacles can translate into a message about Israel's salvation. This will look at some of the reasoning behind these instructions provided to the children of Israel in the wilderness by looking at clues written down throughout the bible by various prophets and leaders during the proceeding years between the Exodus and the Apostle John writing the book of Revelation in the first century AD. Should we still be gathering leaves and branches from good trees and staying in temporary shelters or booths for the duration of the festival? How does God bringing the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt relate to the Feast of Tabernacles?
