Abraham is a central character who plays a major role in the story of salvation.  The Jews claimed in John 8 that they were safe because they were Abraham’s descendants, yet they wanted to kill Christ.  This Abraham did not do! A seed contains all of the “information” stored in it to grow and reproduce.  First, it must be planted and then die only beginning to grow with water (the Holy Spirit).  It takes time to grow and bring forth a head of seeds.  Today, most wheat is Genetically Modified (GMO) and cannot reproduce.  Man is messing with the word of God which contains all the information needed to be Abraham’s seed. I will draw an analogy between this process and the reason we have been called and are observing the Feast of Tabernacles.  We are obeying God by keeping His commandments and way of life.  We have the information being stored in us and we become “Abraham’s seed.”   We will use this “information” in the future to help rebuild and reconstruct society after the dramatic events at the end times when Jesus Christ will return.
