The New Testament Pentecost is about more than receiving the Holy Spirit in miraculous fashion. Note Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 says two things, receive power AND witness. And that witness is to flow out from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. Let’s look at the first chapters of Acts to see how Acts 1:8 was fulfilled.
