Are your expectations in 2020 aligned with and in harmony with reality? Expectations have been shattered in 2020 through momentous change—unemployment, shuttered businesses, riots, burned businesses, coronavirus sickness and lasting health problems. How should Christians deal with this current environment? What should Christians expect? A mature Christian will not have a single outcome mindset, but will develop short and long term plans to deal with changing and unexpected circumstances. Godly anticipation always raises the possibility to be disappointed. We must not daydream, but each accept responsibility taking wise measures to be prepared spiritually and physically. The word of God will help us eradicate every false expectation. Like the Apostle Paul, it is important that we mature in faith and respond correctly if our expectations are not fulfilled.
