Randy Stiver shares some lessons learned from a deaf member in how we can listen better that includes putting in the effort to listen without distractions, anticipating the speaker's points, and applying those points to our lives with an open mind. We should reserve any judgements until after the sermon is over and then prove whether what was said is truthful. Finally, we should review notes and summarize the points in our mind by meditating on the message.
