The troubles we have seen this year due to covid19 do not give us confidence in the physical world. In this sermon Mr. Smith tells us we have something greater to put our confidence in. He tells us we need to build our foundation on the Rock that is Jesus Christ. He shows us in this sermon that one way to do this is to keep focused on the meanings of God's holy days. The Passover shows us God truly wants mankind to be saved and the fall holy days give the details of how all mankind will be offered a great future. God's holy days give us the details needed to build a solid foundation of hope for our future in God's kingdom.

Gary Smith

Gary Smith was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, but spent most of his youth in the Pasadena, California area. He graduated from Ambassador College in 1976 and he and his wife, Liz, moved to Peoria, Illinois. For the next six years he worked as a nursing home administrator in Illinois, Ohio, and Texas.
In 1982, he and Liz began to serve in the full-time ministry. Since that time, they have served in a number of congregations in the Midwest.
Gary and Liz now pastor in Houston, Texas near their two children and grandson.
