The fiasco in the Middle East took a turn for the worst this past week and cost the lives of many innocent civilians and US servicemen. Many distressed Americans are demanding to know what went wrong. The answer to this question is found in Leviticus 26, where God’s conditional promises to the Israelites offer blessings so long as the nation obeyed God’s laws. America has deserted its Biblical foundation and is now reaping the same consequences the erring nation of Israel faced prior to its captivity.
