Hope is a favorable & confident expectation, an expectation of fulfillment & success. Hope has to do with the unseen & the future. Our hope is a good hope, a blessed hope, and a living hope. Our hope is in the resurrection of the dead & in the promises made to the fathers & Israel. We wait through the Spirit for the hope of righteousness. We hope for the fulfillment of all the promises made in the Gospel. We yearn for the blessed hope of the glory of God which we will begin to receive at the glorious appearing of our great God & Savior Jesus Christ, when our hope for salvation will be realized, when God’s hope for us will be realized, when our hope of eternal life will be achieved, and all the hope of Israel realized. May God the Father Who is the God of Hope direct all our ways and keep His Hope burning brightly in us!
