Anyone from ancient Israel could separate themselves to God by taking the Nazirite vow. They were separated by this vow and dedicated their lives to God. Numbers 6 forbade a Nazirite from partaking of any product from the grapevine. They could not cut their hair during the time of the vow. They had to avoid contact with dead, unclean bodies. We are called to separate our lives to God today. There are many lessons that we can learn from the Nazirite vow of the Old Testament.
